Your Role And Responsibilities
The Procurement Specialist will support a high-value Federal acquisition program by managing the full lifecycle of purchase orders. This role ensures procurement activities are executed efficiently, compliantly, and with a focus on delivering best value to the government.
Key Responsibilities

Create and process purchase orders, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and properly routed for approvals.

Execute procurement for automation supplies in alignment with Federal acquisition regulations and internal policies.

Collaborate with contracting officers, technical teams, and suppliers to ensure timely and compliant issuance of purchase orders.

Maintain thorough documentation for all procurement actions, including contract awards, modifications, and closeouts.

Ensure procurement activities are fair, transparent, and competitive.

Monitor and track procurement milestones to support program timelines and reporting requirements.

Support audit readiness and compliance by maintaining organized records and documentation.
Qualifications

Proven experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain operations—preferably within the Federal sector.

Familiarity with FAR, procurement systems, and automation supply categories.

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in procurement, ideally within federal or public-sector environments

Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, contracting vehicles, and procurement planning

Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage effectively with clients and stakeholders

Familiarity with supply market trends, supplier capabilities, and supply chain best practices

Experience applying risk management and mitigation strategies in procurement processes

Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance with the U.S. government
