Procurement Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role will support purchasing operations, supplier management processes, and cost-efficiency initiatives in alignment with company policies and operational needs. The position can be based in Ayvalık or Istanbul depending on the candidate’s preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute procurement activities in accordance with company procedures and compliance requirements
• Manage supplier research, evaluation, selection, and performance tracking
• Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and price quotations
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely supply of goods and services
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, risks, and alternative sources
• Support cost improvement and process optimization projects
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records
• Ensure alignment with sustainability, ethical sourcing, and audit standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related fields
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (FMCG or manufacturing experience is an asset)
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset and high attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle is an advantage)
• Good command of English
• Ability to work from Ayvalık or Istanbul
• No travel restrictions
• Having a valid driver’s license is an advantage
