Position Overview
As a Chief of Staff, Product, you would help build high-impact tools that streamline financial operations at scale. You’ll partner with clients, engineers, and internal teams to turn complex financial workflows into clear product requirements. The role is hands-on and high-ownership: You will analyze large datasets, surface insights, and drive execution end to end.
You are expected to understand finance, have comfort with data and have a hold for end to end owning of product roadmaps.
Role & Responsibilities

Discovery and user research: Partner with finance teams of enterprise clients to map pain points across AR/AP, cash flow, reconciliation, close, and reporting.

Mine large-scale datasets to identify patterns and gaps; translate findings into feature ideas and automation opportunities.

Write clear PRDs, user stories, and specs that tie to business outcomes and acceptance criteria.

Drive delivery with engineering, data, and QA—prioritize, unblock, and ensure on-time, high-quality releases.

Own the product lifecycle end to end: scope problems, define requirements, run UAT, and close the loop with client feedback.

Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders; build cadence and work as champion for both business and engineering.

Data governance: Handling of master data (chart of accounts, vendors, customers), PII handling, and access controls/roles.
Must - Have Criteria

Must have an engineering degree from a Tier-1 institution (IIT, BITS, NIT, or equivalent).

Bring 3–5 years’ experience in Finance, Fintech, or SaaS product environments.

Demonstrate strong finance fundamentals: AR, AP, cash flow management, GL/trial balance, income statements, and close processes.

Be proficient in data wrangling with SQL and Excel; Python or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) are a plus.

Handle large datasets and convert analysis into actionable product insights.

Gather, document, and translate client requirements into clear product decisions and roadmaps.

Operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous contexts with a bias for action.

Communicate effectively in verbal and written form with both finance stakeholders and engineering teams.
Nice to Have

Experience in enterprise SaaS or B2B finance platforms.

Exposure to reconciliation engines, payment processors, or accounting systems.

Prior startup experience or working with distributed teams..
