Production Designer

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

· Draft detailed drawings of machinery and mechanical devices, indicating dimensions and tolerances, fasteners and joining requirements, and other engineering data.

· Review rough sketches and engineering specifications received from engineer, design or project manager.

· Draft multiple-view assembly, subassembly, and layout drawings as required for manufacture of machines and equipment.

Qualifications:

· Degree from a recognized CAD training facility

Experience:

· 5 years’ experience in drawing/designing

· Steel structural drawing is helpful.

· Experience with ductwork and metal shop fabrication is helpful.

Skills:

· Microsoft Office

· CAD Software- AutoCad, CamDuct, ProNest Software

· Able to effectively communicate to employees, vendors, and customers at all levels orally and in writing.

· Able to work with advanced and complex mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

· Able to apply concepts using fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions

· Able to solve practical problems, resolving those problems using a variety of instructions or guides furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, with minimal supervision.

· Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Valid drivers license

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
