Position: Production Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the production process for steel and aluminium fabrication, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Develop and implement production schedules, optimizing resources to meet production targets.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve product designs and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor production equipment and machinery, conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in production engineering, with a focus on steel and aluminium fabrication.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Proficient in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software and technologies.
• Project management experience.
