Position Overview
We are looking for a
Production Engineer
who will drive continuous improvement across operations by leading capital deployment, process optimization, and cost-reduction initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in improving safety, productivity, and product quality through data-driven manufacturing principles and Lean methodologies.
Key Responsibilities

Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing concepts such as Value Stream Mapping, root cause analysis, structured problem-solving, and 5S+.

Evaluate and enhance existing operations and engineering processes to improve efficiency, safety, and quality while reducing cost.

Lead capital improvement projects, including the design and installation of manufacturing equipment, facility upgrades, and new product start-ups.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and communicating opportunities for process and performance optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new product introductions, focusing on manufacturability, layout design, materials, and cost analysis.

Support daily production operations by troubleshooting process issues and developing sustainable solutions.

Maintain detailed documentation including process flow diagrams, standard work instructions, and production layouts.

Perform other engineering duties as required to support plant operations and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).

Minimum 1 year of experience (including internships) in an engineering or manufacturing role.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and standard computer applications.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications

3 5 years of hands-on experience in a high-mix / low-volume manufacturing environment.

Advanced degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience working with MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

Background in continuous improvement projects and new product industrialization.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly systems and pull flow.

Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Systems and Six Sigma methodology.
