Job Purpose:

Supervise of production process of assigned production zone (manufacturing, packaging, dispensing work centers assigned with specific span of control) for safe, compliant, and efficient production output as per production schedule in shift operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Setup & Execution
• Confirm daily operational readiness (man, machine, material, methods) for smooth start-up and shift continuity.
• Supervise line clearance and product changeovers as per production plan.
• Ensure equipment functionality and proper material flow (receiving, issuance, delivery).
• Oversee dispensing operations and maintain cleanliness of dispensing sections.
• Quality Assurance & Documentation
• Maintain accurate batch documentation, reconciliation, and GMP records in line with data integrity principles.
• Report and investigate quality/safety deviations, incidents, and risks; implement CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, QMS, and corporate quality standards.
• Manage SOP revisions, BPR/BMR updates, and GPS standards deployment.
• Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
• Implement and monitor EHS policies and standards in all areas.
• Conduct GMP cleaning/washing and maintain hygiene and safe behaviors.
• Identify and reduce hazardous/non-hazardous waste and ensure proper disposal.
• People Leadership & Performance Management
• Supervise operations with Leader Standard Work; maintain presence for people leadership and problem-solving.
• Conduct performance management meetings, track KPIs, and ensure operator training on equipment and good practices.
• Address inefficiencies in processes and operator performance to minimize errors and losses.
• Continuous Improvement & Compliance Audits
• Conduct self-inspections (Level-1 audits) to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Drive 5S implementation and maintain Operator Standard Work (OSW).
• Identify opportunities to reduce defects, breakdowns, and improve productivity.
• Handle any additional responsibilities as per business needs.
  
  
  

Skills and Competencies:

• Pharm-D/B-Pharm
• 1.5 to 2 years of experience in production OSD field
• Good knowledge related to area GMP, deviation management and PPTs.
• Ability to manage day and night shift operation.
