Professional Family Tree Scrapbooker/Graphic Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Professional Family Tree Scrapbooker/Graphic Designer to craft beautiful, personalized family history projects. This role combines artistic craftsmanship with advanced graphic design skills to produce visually compelling family trees, scrapbooks, and related digital content. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through art and design, with the ability to translate family histories into engaging visual narratives using a variety of digital tools and techniques.

Duties

• Design and create custom family tree scrapbooks that incorporate photographs, illustrations, and textual elements.
• Incorporate branding elements, typography, color theory, and layout design principles to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
• Edit and manipulate photographs through photo manipulation techniques, ensuring high-quality visual output.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their family histories and preferences, translating these into artistic designs.
• Maintain consistency in color management, print advertising standards, and production design across all projects.
• Prepare print-ready files for sign manufacturing or print advertising as needed.
• Stay updated on current trends in digital art, UI/UX design, and web design to enhance project quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience with a strong portfolio showcasing digital art, illustration, layout design, and print advertising.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus for web-based project integration.
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, visual design principles, and branding strategies.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate creative concepts effectively.
• Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress for online portfolio management or project display.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
