Position summary
The Program Manager is responsible for the implementation, management, administration, and evaluation of assigned program sites and related initiatives in accordance with the standards and mission of the organization. This includes oversight of two program sites and the facilitation and management of the LEAD Ambassador Program for high school girls. The Program Manager ensures high-quality program delivery, efficient administrative operations, and clear communication with participants, families, volunteers, and staff.
Program Facilitation & Management
- Facilitate and manage program sites, delivering LEAD Girls curriculum to groups of 15–25 participants and ensuring safe, engaging, age-appropriate sessions.
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians, and volunteers.
- Track registration, attendance, evaluations, and required documentation to meet grant and reporting requirements.
- Compile and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual program data; analyze trends and recommend improvements.
Ambassador Program Coordination
- Oversee the LEAD Ambassador Program, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, communication, and leadership development activities.
- Maintain up-to-date materials such as headshots, rosters, and related resources.
Program Administration & Communications
- Respond to program emails within 48 hours; monitor voicemail and program applications.
- Send scheduled communications (emails, texts, app notifications); distribute welcome info and session reminders.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, guardian contact notes, and translation needs.
- Track in-kind donations, supply purchases, invoices, and program materials.
- Prepare and organize communication templates, survey QR codes, flyers, nametags, event folders, and program materials (with intern support as needed).
- Create demographic charts and manage “No Photo Consent” records.
Team & Office Support
- Prepare workstations for new team members and maintain organized program/office documentation.
- Participate in monthly meetings with the Director of Programs and support general office needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Passion for empowering girls and commitment to the mission of LEAD Girls of NC.
- Experience working with youth ages 9–16, preferably in school, camp, or mentoring settings.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with Google Workspace, Zoom, and related platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual a plus.
- Creative, flexible, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented.
- Must have reliable transportation and be available for assigned program site hours.
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Education, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
