Job Summary:
DMG is seeking a Program Manager with strong cross-functional and cross-trade experience to lead customer-specific programs and projects. This role is responsible for managing project lifecycle activities from RFP response through execution, subcontractor oversight, and post-project work validation. Program Managers play a pivotal role in enabling strategic sales initiatives, coordinating operational delivery, and acting as the primary owner of complex, high value programs.
This position requires an individual who is deeply knowledgeable in facilities maintenance and skilled trades, is comfortable working with internal stakeholders and external partners, and thrives in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment.
What You'll Do:
Construction Specific Responsibilities

Manage multiple construction projects at once.
-
Work alongside additional DMG team members in other roles to execute projects for Construction and Maintenance Departments.

Manage owner, designer, subcontractor and vendor relationships.
-
Manager and drive project schedule.
-
Establish budget and cost controls.
-
100% delivery on customer SLA for Renovate & Elevate projects.
-
Manage Margins at 22%+.
-
Identify at least 2 margin improvement initiatives per year.
-
First time invoice acceptation rate of 90%+.
-
Establish project-specific controls, monitor and report out.
-
Prepare to speak with the customer and explain projects outstanding.
Program and Project Management

Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and monitoring of customer-specific programs and projects.

Manage project scope, timelines, quality standards, and financial performance to ensure delivery excellence.

Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans, schedules, and status updates to stakeholders.
Sales and Business Development Support

Respond to RFPs and RFIs by creating compelling proposals aligned with customer objectives, cost thresholds, and operational capabilities.

Collaborate with sales teams to scope and price new opportunities and contribute to customer growth strategies.

Assist in identifying upsell opportunities and contribute to expanding DMG’s footprint within strategic accounts.
Operational Execution

Act as the operational liaison across teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and projects.

Provide subject matter expertise in facility maintenance, including industry standards for labor, materials, and equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges in collaboration with field and vendor teams.
Subcontractor and Vendor Oversight

Lead subcontractor selection, onboarding, pricing negotiations, and performance evaluation.

Ensure work validation, quality assurance, and compliance with scope and safety standards.

Maintain accurate subcontractor databases, rate structures, and availability.
Customer Engagement and Communication

Serve as the main point of contact for designated programs and projects, delivering regular performance reports and strategic recommendations.

Conduct client-facing meetings, including project kick-offs, progress reviews, and closeout sessions.

Champion a culture of customer satisfaction by delivering consistent, measurable value.
Additional Responsibilities

What You Need:
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience (5+ years strongly preferred).

Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple subcontractors, materials, and trades.

Deep knowledge of the facilities maintenance industry or related service lines (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical).

Demonstrated experience responding to RFPs, preparing pricing and proposal documents, and leading cross-functional bid efforts.

Strong analytical capabilities to review data and make data-driven recommendations.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Experience with CRM, project management, and workflow tools preferred (e.g., Salesforce, Smartsheet, Monday.com).

Ability to travel or work onsite as business needs require.
-
Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
-
Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
-
Ability to work non-traditional hours.
-
Ability to travel to sites (up to 50%).

Knowledge & Experience working with local governments on permitting and construction guidelines.
