Z.M.K. & Co. invites applications for the position of Project Assistant for UNDP Pakistan’s “Rights-Based Community Stabilization Project” in District Khyber.
Background
UNDP Pakistan’s Decentralization, Human Rights & Local Governance (DHL) Project implements the Rights-Based Community Stabilization Project to support sustainable community-based disengagement and reintegration of vulnerable youth. The project strengthens community resilience through psychosocial support, skills development, awareness-raising, and engagement with local leaders, academia, and civil society.
Purpose
To provide administrative, documentation, and logistical support for field missions, trainings, coordination activities, and day-to-day project operations.
Job Description (Key Responsibilities)
Support logistical arrangements for missions, trainings, events, and field visits.
Maintain organized project files, correspondence, action trackers, and documentation.
Assist in procurement processes and administrative requests as per donor guidelines.
Coordinate with field teams, government line departments, and implementation partners.
Compile data and assist in drafting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Support community-level events, awareness sessions, consultations, and engagement activities.
Provide inventory management and ensure availability of office supplies and equipment.
Facilitate communication between PMU, community teams, and other stakeholders.
Assist in preparing payment requests, expense claims, and verifying supporting documents.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Business, Management, Development Studies, Statistics, or related discipline
(OR) Bachelor’s degree with 1 additional year of relevant experience.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in project support, community stabilization, or development projects.
Experience in programme coordination, reporting, and documentation.
Experience working with government or multilateral organizations.
Previous work experience in the merged areas is an asset.
Knowledge of gender-sensitive and inclusive programming.
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication (English, Urdu, Pashto).
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
Cultural sensitivity and commitment to inclusion.
