Project Management : Plan, execute, and monitor production projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Technical Oversight: Provide engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, project managers, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution and communication.
- Resource Coordination: Manage the allocation of engineering resources, materials, and equipment to support project activities efficiently. Make sure of issue from store and resubmission on site or store with proper tracking methord.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including engineering reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address technical issues that arise during project execution, providing solutions to maintain project flow.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates and technical inquiries.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting safety assessments as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for efficiency gains and enhanced productivity.
Requirements
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, or related field).
- Experience : 8+ years in project engineering, preferably within ship repair or shipbuilding.
- Strong technical knowledge and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in engineering design software and project management tools.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Willingness to work in a marine environment, including shipyards and onboard vessels.
