PROJECT ENGINEER

1. Project Handling

• Act as the We One representative during the implementation of security systems.

• Define functional specifications for security solution projects in coordination with clients.

• Maintain clear communication regarding technical interfaces with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to prevent future discrepancies.

• Liaise with project personnel responsible for project implementation and coordinate regularly with the We One office on proposals and updates.

• Ensure preparation and review of all project drawings and oversee site coordination activities.

• Manage all project-related situations professionally and maintain a complaint-free project environment.

• Serve as the key point of contact for all project-related communication.

2. Site Survey & Planning

• Conduct site surveys, prepare assessment reports, and recommend suitable security solutions based on project requirements and site conditions.

• Perform follow-ups and conduct spot checks on ongoing activities to ensure quality control.

• Develop and maintain appropriate monitoring systems and follow-up indicators in line with the project log.

• Coordinate with clients for risk assessments and planning to understand security and IT requirements.

• Prepare reports for the We One office and plan workshops with clients and stakeholders to define the project's security scope.

• Identify needs for specialized training, equipment, support, and orientation requirements and coordinate accordingly.

3. Teamwork & Communication

• Foster strong relationships built on mutual trust, respect, and cooperation with clients.

• Maintain professional communication with line managers, peers, and subordinates, ensuring accurate written documentation.

• Ensure continuous communication with the We One office for all project-related updates.

• Coordinate technical meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure proper documentation.

• Safeguard We One’s interests across all assigned projects at all times.

4. Project Monitoring & Reporting

• Oversee all phases of project execution to ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and quality requirements.

• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly project reports to the We One office and clients.

• Track progress, identify risks, propose corrective actions, and ensure timely project completion.

5. Special Projects

• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.

• Participate in internal meetings and support cross-functional initiatives as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or IT Engineering.

• PMP Certification is preferred.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in the security engineering field.

• Offshore experience is considered an advantage.

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and managing integrated security system projects.

• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and integrated security solution technologies, with an understanding of emerging industry trends.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and reporting skills.

• Customer-focused, proactive, creative, and a strong team player.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects effectively and professionally.
