Project Engineer

Direct Watts SET Pvt. Ltd. is a growing Solar EPC company delivering high-quality rooftop and ground-mounted solar solutions. We focus on innovation, safe installation practices, and customer satisfaction while contributing to India’s clean energy mission.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Prepare project schedules, BOQ, and resource planning.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for material delivery and manpower.

2. Installation & Execution

• Meticulously install and commission solar panel systems, ensuring precise mounting, secure electrical connections, and seamless integration of monitoring systems.
• Conduct thorough site assessments to determine optimal system design and feasibility, providing expert recommendations to clients.
• Conduct detailed site surveys (roof structure, shading, load capacity, electrical points).

3. Quality Checks & Testing

• Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Validate electrical connections, earthing, and performance ratios.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports, progress photos, material records, and checklists.
• Prepare completion reports and handover documentation.

5. Client & Department Coordination

• Communicate with clients regarding project progress and technical queries.
• Coordinate with DISCOM for net metering, inspections, and approvals.

6. Post-Installation Support

• Assist in system monitoring, performance evaluation, and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience in solar panel installation, maintenance, and repair.

Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of solar components (modules, inverters, structures).
• Ability to read SLDs, layout drawings, and electrical diagrams.
• Good communication and team management skills.
• Problem-solving ability and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and project documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Panditwari, Dehradun, Uttarakhand: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
