Ø Purpose of Position
- The job incumbent is responsible for Quality Assurance & Quality Control of the construction works at different stages.

The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
Ø Major Responsibilities
-
Review project plans & drawings for both structural and finishing elements.
-
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of structural and finishing activities.
-
Assist in the preparation of work schedules, activity sequencing, and resource planning (material, manpower, machinery).
-
Flag potential design or execution conflicts early and provide solutions.
-
Supervise all reinforced concrete work, steel structures, formwork, and shuttering operations.
-
Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
-
Conduct and verify bar bending schedules (BBS) and concrete mix designs.
-
Monitor quality of materials (cement, steel, aggregates) and their usage.
-
Check line, level, and plumb of structural elements.
-
Ensure compliance with safety norms during high-rise structural work.
-
Supervise plastering, painting, tiling, waterproofing, false ceiling, joinery, and facade works.
-
Coordinate the sequence of finishing works with MEP installations.
-
Ensure that all interior and exterior finishes meet design and quality standards.
-
Prepare mock-ups/samples and get approvals before bulk execution.
-
Resolve site execution issues related to aesthetics, alignment, material compatibility, etc.
-
Implement and monitor QA/QC plans at every stage of work.
-
Conduct or witness regular site inspections and testing (slump tests, cube tests, tile adhesion tests,etc.).
-
Maintain checklists, reports, and records for structural and finishing quality.
-
Ensure rectification of defects and non-conformities.
-
Act as the bridge between the client, consultants, and contractors.
-
Provide technical clarifications and facilitate approvals.
-
Support in handover documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and snag list closures.

Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
-
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
-
Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
-
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
-
Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
-
Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
-
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
-
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum experience of 8 years in Quality Control, Quality Assurance of:
Post Tensioning Works,
- Waterproofing,
- Reinforcement Steel,
- Structural Steel,
- Buildings, PHE, STP, Batching Plant, QA Lab Tests, Embedment works,
- Civil Related Works for MEP

Should be proficient in basic Computer Applications- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Should have fair knowledge in Civil Engineering software packages like Autocad, Revit & any other.

Should have good communication skills.

Should be able to communicate in Hindi, English.
