Project Engineer - Landscaping & Swimming Pool Experience

• Supervise and manage day-to-day on-site operations for swimming pool construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, pool designers, MEP engineers, and consultants to ensure accurate execution of pool design concepts and specifications.
• Oversee all phases of pool construction, including excavation, structural works, waterproofing, tiling, and finishing.
• Supervise installation of pool systems such as filtration, circulation, pumps, piping, drainage, and underwater lighting.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and standards, including Dubai Municipality and other relevant authorities.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and approved construction methods.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and project schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure all works meet engineering standards and specifications.
• Provide technical support on pool systems, including water treatment, balancing tanks, and hydraulic systems.
• Review and interpret construction drawings and ensure proper implementation on-site.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Prepare material take-offs, BOQs, and assist in cost estimation and procurement processes.
• Track project progress, costs, and resource utilization, reporting any variances.
• Enforce HSE policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safe working practices on-site.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site logs, and documentation.
• Maintain records of inspections, approvals, permits, and testing/commissioning reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of completed swimming pool systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of proven experience in swimming pool construction or water-related projects (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of pool construction, waterproofing systems, and MEP coordination.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and authority requirements.
• Experience with pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heat exchangers, and dosing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and site management skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
