Role Overview

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and managing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for infrastructure projects such as industrial parks, warehouses, data centers, roads & utilities, commercial infrastructure, and large-scale developments. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, safe, and quality execution of all MEP systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Planning

- Review and understand MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and design documents.

- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and external consultants.

- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and material selection for HVAC, electrical, fire-fighting, and plumbing systems.

- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes (NBC, IS, IEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, local standards).

Project Execution & Coordination

- Plan and monitor daily/weekly MEP activities at site.

- Supervise contractors and ensure strict adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.

- Coordinate routing of MEP services, clash detection, and timely execution.

- Conduct regular site inspections and progress tracking.

Vendor & Contractor Management

- Evaluate MEP vendors and subcontractors.

- Verify vendor technical submissions, shop drawings, and method statements.

- Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Implement QA/QC procedures across all MEP work fronts.

- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning (T&C).

- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and statutory requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain site logs, inspection reports, test reports, and material tracking sheets.

- Assist in preparing DPRs/WPRs and progress presentations.

- Manage as-built drawings and handover documents.

Technical Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting & utility systems.

- Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), MS Project/Primavera (preferred).

- Understanding of MEP design principles, codes, and standards.

- Experience with infrastructure utilities (HT/LT lines, STP/WTP, fire pumps, DG systems, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience

- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

- 4–10 years of experience in MEP execution for infrastructure or large construction projects.

- Experience in industrial, warehousing, or commercial infra projects preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
