Educational Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years in construction projects

Major Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Collaborate with various departments within the university to understand and incorporate their needs.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure construction projects meet the university's standards and regulations.
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with construction projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure favorable terms for the university.
• Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
• Communicate regularly with university stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
• Address and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process, finding practical and efficient solutions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, permits, and correspondence.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all involved parties.
• Conduct post-construction evaluations to assess the success of projects and identify areas for improvement.
• Incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into construction projects where applicable.
• Lead and manage project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Preparation of BOQ by Take-Off Quantities from relevant drawing
