Project Manager - Cross Country Pipeline Construction
Location: Saudi Arabia
Experience Required: 8 - 10 Years
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
Certification: ARAMCO Approved (Mandatory)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with proven experience in the construction of Cross Country Pipelines. The ideal candidate must have hands on expertise in managing full project lifecycle covering Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre Commissioning, Commissioning, and Handover of pipeline and hydrocarbon facilities. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical understanding, and the ability to coordinate multi disciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Execution
- Oversee and lead the project from conceptual stage to final handover ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Plan, schedule, and manage project deliverables to meet budget, timeline, and quality requirements.
- Execute projects involving pipelines, piping systems, process equipment installation, structural, civil, electrical, instrumentation & communication works.
- Technical & Engineering Management
- Provide strong technical direction and ensure compliance with international codes and standards.
- Work closely with Engineering & Procurement teams to ensure project specifications are adhered to.
- Stakeholder, Client & Team Management
- Maintain high-level engagement with Client Senior Management.
- Attend client and internal meetings to discuss project status, issues, and deliverables.
- Lead, supervise and guide project teams and multiple subcontractors across project sites.
- Cost, Quality, and HSE Control
- Monitor performance in terms of schedule, cost, quality, and HSE compliance.
- Ensure contractual terms and conditions are correctly applied throughout the project.
- Identify and mitigate risks and resolve project challenges proactively.
- Commercial & Contractual Management
- Identify Change Orders, Claims, Variation Requests and coordinate with Client for negotiation and approvals.
- Ensure accurate reporting including progress reports, resource utilization, and financial accountability.
- Monitoring & Documentation
- Conduct periodic project reviews to assess performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Prepare scheduled reports, progress summaries, and action recommendations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of Pipeline Construction, EPC project management principles, resource planning, and contract management.
Preferred Background
- Experience in Saudi Arabia pipeline or oil & gas infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing multiple project managers and project sites simultaneously.
