JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for planning, executing, and driving end-to-end project delivery according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating internal resources, external stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are achieved, risks are managed, and deliverables meet quality standards. Aligning project outcomes with organizational goals and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Project Planning & Execution

Lead the end-to-end management of assigned projects (infrastructure, operational improvements, digital transformation, safety initiatives, etc.)

Develop and maintain Tawasul platform project dashboards and reports (KPIs, scope, timelines, resources, budget, and terminal performance).

Track operational and financial metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

Prepare executive-level updates and presentations for the line manager and senior management in line with company branding and standards.

Provide regular progress updates and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Quality Assurance & Compliance

Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, compliance, and quality.

Develop reports to capture changes to project scope, schedule, and costs in line with approved change management processes.

Perform risk management by maintaining updated risk and issue registers with corrective/preventive actions.

Identify and escalate risks, issues, and improvement opportunities promptly.

Coordinate with all internal departments to ensure smooth execution.

Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when needed.

Ensure adherence to DP World standards, HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) policies, and compliance frameworks.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and capture lessons learned.

Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, understanding and meeting diverse expectations without jeopardizing value delivery.

Facilitate regular status review meetings with project teams and stakeholders and prepare clear weekly status reports.

Coordinate steering committee meetings with project sponsors, owners, and senior management.
Portfolio & Strategic Alignment

Prepare and present status reports, financial forecasts, and variance analyses.

Manage multiple related or unrelated projects/programs in parallel without compromising overall performance.

Ensure continuous alignment of project goals with organizational and business unit strategic objectives.
Change & Governance

Manage project scope variations, schedule adjustments, and budget changes via defined change control processes.

Keep the risk register updated and proactively implement mitigation plans.

Ensure governance standards are adhered to across all phases of the project lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.

Professional certifications (PMP, or equivalent) preferred.

7+ years of experience in project management, preferably within ports, logistics, shipping, or infrastructure industries.

Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.

Strong knowledge of HSSE standards and regulatory frameworks relevant to the ports and logistics sector.
