Urgent Opening: Project Manager for Leading Road and Highway Infra projects

Roads and Highway Infra Experience is must

Experience – 8 to 10 Years experience

Key responsibilities

  • Project planning and execution: Develop detailed project plans, set objectives, and manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Budget and cost control: Manage the project budget, track costs, forecast spending, and manage change orders to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Schedule management: Develop and manage project schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely delivery.
  • Stakeholder coordination: Act as the main point of contact, coordinating with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and government authorities to ensure smooth execution and address concerns.
  • Quality and safety assurance: Implement quality assurance processes and conduct site inspections to ensure work meets specifications and that all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are followed.
  • Contract and risk management: Manage contracts, negotiate with vendors, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Resource management: Allocate and manage all project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficiency and availability.

Required qualifications and skills

  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience: Significant experience in highway or road construction projects is a strong advantage.
  • Project management skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects.
  • Leadership and communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Technical expertise: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Contract and negotiation skills: Experience in contract management, bid evaluation, and vendor negotiation.
