About the Role

TSL is partnering with a leading EPC powerhouse in the GCC region, renowned for delivering end-to-end turnkey solutions across design, engineering, fabrication, testing, and installation. With cutting-edge in-house facilities and a loyal, long-standing client portfolio, this trusted industry leader serves key sectors including oil & gas, power, water, and industrial infrastructure. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an Assistant Proposal Manager to join their dynamic UAE operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware professional to join a well-established business with global project exposure. The role will support the proposal process for a range of gas treatment solutions including Gas Dehydration Units, Amine Sweetening Units, Condensate Stabilization, Dew Point Control, and CO /H S Removal Units.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage full lifecycle proposal documentation from bid evaluation to submission
• Conduct detailed process design, equipment sizing, and cost estimation
• Support PFD, P&ID, 3D Model, and HAZOP reviews
• Prepare technical and commercial bid documents; coordinate vendor RFQs and reviews
• Perform process simulations and calculations using HYSYS and Aspen tools
• Contribute to technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including engineering, procurement, and clients
• Support the Head of Proposals in strategy, accuracy, and timely delivery of tenders

Skills & Experience Required

• Degree-qualified in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in the oil & gas sector, preferably with OEMs.
• Strong background in process engineering with hands-on exposure to gas treatment technologies
• Essential to have worked on Gas Treatment Packages like Gas Dehydration units, Gas Sweetening Units, Dew Point Control Unit, Fuel gas conditioning Units, Mercury Removal Units,
• Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS/UNISIM, MS Office, and technical evaluation tools
• Familiarity with major industry standards and clients such as KOC, ADNOC, Aramco, PDO, and Shell DEP
• Strong technical writing, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills
• Manufacturing knowledge is an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
