We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Government Proposal Writer to lead the development of compelling, compliant, and responsive proposals for federal, state, and local government solicitations. This role requires a strong understanding of government procurement processes, the ability to interpret RFP/RFQ/RFI requirements, and the talent to translate technical and management solutions into persuasive narratives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze government solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) to determine proposal requirements and response strategy.
  • Write, edit, and format technical, management, past performance, and executive summary content for proposals.
  • Collaborate with business development, capture managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and technical teams to gather and synthesize proposal content.
  • Ensure all proposal submissions are compliant with solicitation requirements and aligned with the company’s voice and value proposition.
  • Manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
  • Maintain proposal templates, boilerplate content, and other supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to pre-proposal activities such as capability statements, sources sought responses, and white papers.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience writing government proposals (federal and/or state/local).
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement processes (FAR, DFARS, etc.).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and respond to technical requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Experience managing deadlines and coordinating input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with proposal automation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GovTribe).
  • Familiarity with government contracting vehicles (GSA Schedules, IDIQs, GWACs).
  • Knowledge of APMP best practices or related proposal development methodologies.
  • Background in writing for IT, cybersecurity, staffing, or professional services proposals.

PAY: $10 U.S. Dollars Per Hour

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹895.00 per hour
