Work Schedule:

• 5 x 8-hour shifts
• 4 x 10-hour shifts

Role:

• We are looking for compassionate Psychiatrist - MD, DO to join our team of highly skilled, outpatient Mental Health care providers and clinicians.
• The ideal candidate has experience providing a range of psychiatric assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and case management services for individuals, couples, groups, and/or families.
• We are looking for culturally competent candidates with training and experience for a wide range of patient populations with varied mental health illnesses.
• Our providers are responsible for intaking and assessing patients, evaluating patient’s medical and clinical history, and establishing an individualized treatment plan with pharmaceutical care if clinically appropriate.

Responsibilities:

• Build a positive, therapeutic, and trusting clinical relationship with patients.
• Evaluate the patient’s medical and pharmaceutical history, assess the presenting symptoms, and treat mental health illnesses as clinically appropriate.
• Establish an individualized treatment plan, catered to the specific patient.
• Provide ongoing engagement and treatment as outlined by the care plan and necessary to the patient for successful clinical outcomes.
• Prescribe clinically appropriate medicines as necessary to facilitate improvement in mental health diagnoses.
• Provide case management and coordination of care services as necessary.
• Continue to evaluate patients' treatment progress and care plan.
• Consistent, thorough, and timely documentation for treatment plans and ongoing care.
• Build an outcomes-focused, collaborative care environment for colleagues and patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and an appropriate clinical environment for the patient.
• Attend and engage in supervision with clinical provider team.

Requirements:

• Psychiatric / Mental Health experience.
• Actively licensed to practice and prescribe in New Jersey.
• Active DEA license and ability to prescribe controlled substances.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
