PTO Manufacturing Engineering Team Member

Roles & Responsibilities

Takes the full responsibility of an engine and/or powertrain product at Ford Otosan Eskişehir PTO Plant.

Develops or improves or launches machining/assembly processes by studying product requirements.

Conducts the procurement and implementation process of all machine /equipment / tools for the PTO ongoing product.

Ensures all quality documentation for the product are prepared in conformance to Ford Otosan standards.

Ensures that the layout studies are prepared / approved and implemented to suit the requirements of the plant and the product.

Conducts the PPAP/PSW studies for the ongoing product.

Conducts investment feasibility studies for potential future projects and/or ongoing product improvement studies

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience

Mechanical/Metallurgical/Manufacturing Engineering Degree from a reputable university.

Have at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment preferably in the automotive industry is a plus.

Ability to read technical drawings related to manufacturing processes

Must be computer literate: MS excel, word, power point etc.

Excellent communication skills at all levels

Upper intermedaite level English language skills (verbal / written)

Having ambition to achieve professional goals and contribute to team's success.

Enthusiasm to learn new topics by experience and research and to participate cross-functional teams.

Positivity, eagerness, and optimism for new projects and new learning opportunities.

Writing skills that also include high level of spelling, grammar and punctuation in Turkish and English.

Ability to adapt and transform their technical abilities for new projects and products.

Intermediate level of AutoCAD knowledge is an asset.
