Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Candidate who will oversee the Spare Parts Department and ensure smooth operations. The Spare Parts Purchaser will handle parts quotations, collaborate with suppliers to procure the correct parts, and assist customers in finding necessary materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining records of parts returned under warranty, ensuring that computer systems are up-to-date, and tracking any special orders.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with suppliers regarding automotive spare parts availability, pricing, and order status.
• Collaborate with the technical team on the spare parts needed for vehicle repair.
• Conduct inquiries with suppliers about the price and availability of spare parts.
• Coordinate with the Senior Purchase Officer regarding approved spare parts quotations and procurement.
• Locate and pull automotive spare parts for customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of fulfilment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the organization’s product line and inventory to provide accurate information to customers.
• Proactively contact suppliers to follow up on outstanding orders.
• Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of the spare parts department.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures when handling spare parts and equipment.
• Provide price quotes and other information for spare parts.
• Serve as a reference point and mentor to the team in all aspects of stockroom operations that are applicable to their respective job classifications.
• All purchase related transactions to be updated in the CRM.
• Updating stocks or inventory.
• Communication with vendors for price negotiation.Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree is a plus in automotive or a related field.
