Job Description – Purchase Manager (Ploting Projects & Amenities)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Purchase Manager who can manage complete procurement for Ploting Projects, including civil development, road work, drainage, electricity, waterline, landscaping, and amenities. The candidate must have strong vendor connections and experience in material procurement for large-scale plotting development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement for Ploting Development

- Road work materials: WBM, RCC, Paver Blocks, Kerb Stones, Asphalt material.

- Land development materials: Soil, Gravel, Sand, Stone Dust.

- Drainage & waterline materials: Pipes (PVC/HDPE), Chambers, Valves.

- Electrical work: Street lights, Poles, Cables, Panels.

- Garden & landscape materials: Plants, Grass, Fencing, Irrigation.

- Gate, Compound wall, CCTV & other amenities.

2. Vendor Sourcing & Negotiation

- Identify vendors specialized in plotting & infrastructure materials.

- Compare rates from minimum 3 suppliers.

- Strong negotiation to maintain best pricing & quality.

- Final vendor selection based on cost, delivery & past performance.

3. Coordination with Project & Site Team

- Daily follow-ups with Site Engineer & Contractor for material requirements.

- Prepare weekly & monthly purchase planning for each project.

- Ensure zero delay in material delivery to site.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

- Prepare BOQ-wise purchase budget for every plotting project.

- Analyze quotations to maintain company profitability.

- Maintain cost-saving strategies while ensuring high-quality material.

5. Documentation & Reporting

- Issue Purchase Orders (PO) & delivery schedules.

- Maintain vendor agreements, rate finalization files & price history.

- Coordinate with Accounts Department for vendor billing & payments.

- Maintain daily purchase registers and stock reports.

6. Compliance & Quality

- Ensure all materials meet quality standards.

- Maintain proper GRN (goods receipt note) for every delivery.

- Keep transparency and follow company procurement policy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate / MBA preferred.

- 4–10 years experience in Ploting / Infrastructure Development Purchase.

- Strong knowledge of road, drainage, electrical & landscape materials.

- Excellent negotiation, communication & vendor management skills.

- Excel, Email, Procurement Software required.

Salary Range

₹30,000 – ₹70,000 (Based on experience)
