Purchase Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations and vendor management at our Mumbai facility. The ideal candidate will ensure timely sourcing of materials, maintain cost efficiency, and uphold quality standards across all purchases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, and services for manufacturing operations
• Identify and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Ensure timely delivery of goods while optimizing cost, quality, and inventory levels
• Monitor purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with production, accounts, and logistics teams for smooth workflow
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
• Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options
• Implement cost-saving strategies and streamline procurement processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing procurement
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally), MS Excel, and purchase documentation
• Knowledge of GST, import/export procedures, and compliance

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
