Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist to join our Industrial Construction team. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Source and purchase construction materials, tools, and equipment per project specifications.

· Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors and suppliers.

· Maintain accurate purchase orders and track deliveries to meet project timelines.

· Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and site supervisors to forecast material needs.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in purchasing or procurement within industrial construction or related field.

· Strong verbal, written, negotiation, and communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· High attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Strong numerical and analytical skills for cost tracking and budgeting.

· Demonstrates confidence and adaptability in a team setting.

· Ability to follow leadership direction and learn new processes.

Preferred Education:

Associate degree in one of the following:

· Business Administration

· Supply Chain Management

· Construction Management

· Industrial Technology
