Purchasing Agent Position Overview The Purchasing Agent supports business operations by ordering products and materials that align with Nine Line Apparel's brand. Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor, the Purchasing Agent will place orders, track deliveries, and assist with the daily operations of the purchasing department. Essential Functions Generate daily purchase order reports for static inventory. Create and submit purchase requests for retail and static inventory. Submit all supply requests for retail stores. Track purchase orders (POs), confirm receipt, and ensure timely delivery. Receive and reconcile purchase orders for retail inventory. Monitor open PO reports for retail and static inventory. Verify receiving discrepancies against vendor portals. Contact vendors regarding discrepancies and update Create, submit, receive, and reconcile all store transfer requests, including cross-location product transfers. Digitally receive and reconcile all produced store inventory. Conduct monthly reviews of stock levels and large purchases. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Competencies Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant or in a similar role (preferred). Strong understanding of supply chain procedures. SAP experience (preferred). Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail. Effective time management skills. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work Full-time, in-person position. Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
