Primary Responsibilities

• Always exemplify the Alpine safety culture and serve as a role model for fellow employees in pursuit of an incident-free workplace.
• Monitors stock levels to ensure adequate inventory.
• Performs follow up on late deliveries and expedites shipments to support manufacturing and after-market sales targets
• Reviews purchase requisitions for proper authorization.
• Builds and maintains relationships with existing suppliers.
• Resolves order discrepancies with suppliers
• Collaborates with warehouse staff to manage inventory inflow and outflow
• Analyzes purchasing patterns and suggest cost saving opportunities
• Compile status reports according to the needs of the business
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Associates degree in related discipline, or advanced degree candidates will be considered based on experience. A combination of education and directly related experience will be considered in lieu of an AS degree
• 1-3 years of experience
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, customers, and suppliers
• Experience with Excel and Microsoft office
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• BS degree in related discipline
• APICS CSCP and/or CPIM certification
• Proven background in the understanding of the supply chain process in a manufacturing organization.
• Advanced experience with Excel and Microsoft office
