About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh within the Finance Department, the Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Purchasing (Procurement) with day to day purchasing operations and ensuring that all hotel departments have adequate supplies for efficient operation.

Responsibilities
  • Understand and comply with all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure all business activities comply with the general law, rules, regulations and other requirements as stated in the MO - Al Faisaliah Hotel Code of Conduct.
  • Fully support all learning and development activities.
  • Take all reasonable steps to safeguard stored information and prevent the disclosure of personal or confidential data without appropriate authority.
  • Maintain HACCP & FLHSS standards at all levels - from product sourcing to storage.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Purchasing/Purchasing Manager.
Expectations
  • Maintain a good relationship with all departments.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and the Director of Food & Beverage and other departments to fulfill their needs, liaise on a routine basis to procure items of highest quality at the lowest price.
  • Collaborate closely with the Stores and Receiving Officer and assist whenever needed.
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager with day to day activities.
