Job Summary:
Join our dynamic procurement team as a Purchasing Coordinator, where your energy and precision will drive the seamless acquisition of goods and services essential to our operations. The Purchasing Coordinator supports the procurement function by managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring deliveries, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials, components, and services are procured on time and in alignment with production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.

  • Create and process purchase orders (POs) for raw materials, components, equipment, and services.
  • Track order status and delivery schedules to ensure the timely arrival of materials for production needs.
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers to confirm order details, resolve discrepancies, and expedite shipments when needed.
  • Support the sourcing team in obtaining quotes, evaluating supplier pricing, and comparing terms.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service and reliable supply.
  • Assist in supplier onboarding, maintaining vendor records, and updating contact information.
  • Help monitor supplier performance, escalating any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing to the Procurement Manager.
  • Ensure on-time PO creation and order fulfillment rate.
  • Ensure accuracy of purchasing and inventory data.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS for purchase order processing and procurement activities.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and vendor management principles.
  • Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to support inventory planning and production scheduling.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
  • Understanding of logistics, transportation, and supply chain management concepts.
  • Ability to analyze pricing data, manage contracts effectively, and implement cost-saving initiatives. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
