We are looking for a trustworthy and goal-oriented professional, to develop new suppliers focused on purchasing & sourcing activity at our office in Dubai, UAE. The role combines strategic purchasing, market analysis, and asset optimisation to ensure the company maintains a competitive inventory, maximises component value, and supports sales growth. The manager oversees sourcing, negotiations, teardown opportunities, repair strategies, and supplier relationships while ensuring full compliance with aviation quality and traceability standards.

The candidate will report to the Head of Business Development EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management

  • Assist to manage full lifecycle of assets: acquisition, induction, repair strategy, valuation, and resale.
  • Analyse FMV, market demand, repair costs, and part interchangeability to determine purchasing and trading decisions.
  • Oversee teardown programs for A320/B737 aircraft and engines when applicable.
  • Identify surplus and slow-moving stock; define actions to maximise turnover and margin.
  • Maintain accurate asset records, certifications, trace documents, and commercial status.

Purchasing Management

  • Source components from operators, lessors, teardown partners, brokers, and repair shops.
  • Negotiate purchase prices, contract terms, payment conditions, warranties, and delivery schedules.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with export control and quality requirements (EASA/FAA).
  • Coordinate with logistics, quality, repairs, and finance teams for PO execution and asset induction.

Trading & Commercial Support

  • Work closely with the sales team to define competitive pricing and stock strategies.
  • Support quotations, RFQs, and commercial negotiations for narrow-body components.
  • Monitor market trends and provide forecasts for pricing, demand, and teardown opportunities.
  • Optimise repair decisions versus part-out strategies to maximise profitability

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in aviation components trading, purchasing, or asset management.
  • Strong understanding of A320 and B737 platforms, rotables, LRU systems, and teardown economics.
  • Proven negotiation skills and supplier management experience.
  • Solid analytical and financial evaluation capabilities.
