Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated QA Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software products. You will play a crucial role in our development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, by designing and implementing robust testing strategies. This is a full-time position, offering an excellent opportunity to work on innovative AI-driven projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

 

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs in our issue-tracking system.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and data scientists to understand system requirements and user needs.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to guarantee they meet the highest quality standards.
• Analyse test results and provide detailed reports and quality metrics to the development team and stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, strategies, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes and standards.

Qualifications

Essential:
 

• Proven professional experience in a software quality assurance role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both manual (black box) and automated testing.
• A keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Desirable:
 

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience testing AI or Machine Learning systems is a significant advantage.
• Basic knowledge of a scripting language such as Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing.
