QA Engineer ( With Development Experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing tech hub in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of relevant experience and will support the creation of our Industrial Internet of Things solution.

A key requirement for this role is experience in automation of both UI and APIs to reduce regression test cycle times.

Key Responsibilities

• Test web and mobile platforms across client/server environments and multiple devices.
• Review SRS documents and process models.
• Participate in Specifications Review, Test Planning, Creation and Execution of Test Cases, Defect Reporting, and Defect Verification.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support delivery.
• Apply different testing types: Functional, Integration, System, Compatibility, Regression, Smoke/Sanity, and Ad-hoc Testing.
• Use bug reporting and tracking tools such as TFS/Jira.
• Write SQL queries and use query tools for validation and data testing.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
• 4-5 years of full system development lifecycle experience
• Experience in QA/Test strategy, defect lifecycle, and release management
• Industry experience testing Web and mobile-based applications
• Familiarity with automation tools:
• Postman (API testing)
• Selenium (UI testing)
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Development experience
• Familiarity with test automation
