QA/QC Engineer

The QA/QC Engineer ensures that all interior fit-out works—civil, architectural, MEP coordination, and joinery—are executed in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes. The role involves inspections, documentation, testing, material verification, and ensuring smooth handover with zero defects.

Key Responsibilities1. Quality Planning & Documentation

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements.
• Review project specifications, shop drawings, and materials submittals to ensure compliance.
• Maintain updated QA/QC logs, checklists, NCRs, and quality reports.

2. Site Inspections & Testing

• Conduct inspections for all interior works including:
• Partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes
• Carpentry and joinery installations
• Paint, veneer, laminate, stone, and other finishing works
• MEP-related quality checks in coordination with MEP team
• Verify workmanship quality and ensure compliance with approved samples and mock-ups.
• Perform material inspections upon delivery and ensure conformance with approved samples.

3. Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure all works comply with:
• Project specifications
• Industry standards (ASTM, BS, ISO)
• Client and consultant requirements
• Identify non-conformances and issue NCRs; monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure implementation of quality requirements.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Attend site coordination meetings with client/consultant.
• Communicate quality standards to site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Assist in resolving technical issues related to materials, methods, or workmanship.

5. Handover & Close-Out

• Prepare snag lists and supervise rectification works.
• Ensure final handover documents:
• As-built drawings
• O&M manuals
• Material certificates
• Test reports
• Achieve zero-defect or minimal-defect handover.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
