About the Role
We are seeking an experienced QC Manager (Manufacturing) with 9–12 years of expertise in driving product quality, process control, inspection systems, quality audits, and continuous improvement activities. The role requires deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality tools, inspection standards, compliance systems, and cross-functional collaboration with production, design, SCM, and customer teams.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Systems & Inspection
- Develop and implement QC standards, SOPs, and inspection plans for fabricated parts, machined components, hydraulic assemblies, and complete machinery.
- Set quality norms for incoming materials, in-process stages, and final machine dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/QMS and automotive-quality requirements.
Incoming, In-Process & Final QC
- Oversee incoming inspections of steel, castings, machined parts, engines, hydraulic components, and electrical systems.
- Monitor in-process checks in fabrication, welding, machining, painting, and assembly lines.
- Lead final inspection, functional testing, hydraulic checks, and pre-dispatch verification.
Audits, RCA & CAPA
- Conduct internal audits and support customer audits.
- Lead RCA for defects, failures, and customer complaints using 5-Why, 8D, and FMEA.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.
Quality Metrics & Reporting
- Track key KPIs: Defect %, PPM, Rework %, Yield %, Customer Complaints.
- Prepare weekly/monthly MIS and dashboards for management.
Customer Quality
- Manage customer complaints, field issues, and ensure timely RCA & closure.
- Handle FAI, PPAP, and customer approvals for new components and machines.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Poka-Yoke initiatives.
- Drive defect reduction and process improvements across production stages.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop QC inspectors, engineers, and testing technicians.
- Provide training on QMS, inspection methods, and automotive-quality tools.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
- Experience in Automobile or Machinery Manufacturing is a must.
- Expertise in SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, 5-Why, CAPA, Control Plans.
- Experience in ISO/QMS audits and customer audits.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- High proficiency in MIS reporting and quality dashboards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- strong understanding of fabrication, machining, assembly, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience in automobile, heavy machinery, or industrial equipment manufacturing is mandatory.
- Expertise in SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, Control Plans, PPAP.
- Hands-on experience in ISO/QMS audits and customer audits.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- High proficiency in MIS, dashboards, and quality documentation.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
- 9–12 years of QC/QA experience in manufacturing.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or QMS preferred.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
