We are currently seeking a QHSE Coordinator for our client. The QHSE Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QHSE and a passion for maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with QHSE requirements
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement QHSE training programs for employees
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Stay informed about changes in QHSE regulations and standards and ensure that the company remains in compliance at all times
- Participate in QHSE meetings and provide guidance and support to team members on QHSE matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QHSE, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
