About the Role
We are looking for a talented QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. You will be responsible for designing test strategies, writing and executing test cases, automating workflows, and ensuring the overall quality and stability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute manual test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, and exploratory testing
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent)
- Identify, log, and track defects using Jira or similar tools
- Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure timely issue resolution
- Implement and improve QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing standards
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and QA reviews
- Generate detailed test reports and share testing insights with the team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Software QA
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
- Experience with automation tools such as:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Cypress
- Playwright
- TestNG / JUnit / Mocha / Jest
- Good understanding of JavaScript, Python, or Java (any one required)
- Experience with version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
- Ability to document test cases and test results clearly
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with API automation
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Basic SQL for data validation
- Experience with performance tools (JMeter, k6)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
