Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall testing strategy and approach for the bank's applications and systems.
• Define test plans, scope, objectives, resources, and schedules for testing activities.
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of testing tools and frameworks.
• Promote and lead efforts for test automation to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
• Lead the creation of detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data sets based on requirements and technical specifications.
• Execute test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage for all applications.
• Establish processes for tracking, managing, and prioritizing defects and issues identified during testing.
• Work closely with development teams to facilitate defect resolution.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee performance and load testing efforts to ensure applications meet scalability and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with the Security and Compliance Manager to ensure that security testing is integrated into the testing process.
• Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and maintain regression testing suites to ensure that new features or changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
• Generate and communicate comprehensive test reports, including metrics, progress, and status updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance testing team culture

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8-1 0 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or lead role.
• In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with various types of testing, including functional, non-functional, and security testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Experience in implementing and managing test automation initiatives.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.) and experience in defect lifecycle management.
• Experience in conducting performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
• Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, etc.).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of testers.

Experience in coaching and developing team members.

• Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
