Understanding Business Requirements
Review BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and process flows to ensure a deep understanding of project objectives.
Gain complete clarity on business rules and expected outcomes.

Creating UAT Test Scenarios & Test Cases
Design comprehensive end-to-end test scenarios based on real business use cases.
Write clear, concise, and business-relevant test cases.
Identify, request, or create appropriate test data to support validation activities.
Use realistic test data to ensure effective and accurate testing.
Execute test cases systematically in the UAT environment.
Validate user interfaces, workflows, calculations, and business logic to ensure alignment with requirements.
Report defects with complete details, including screenshots and step-by-step descriptions, clearly highlighting expected versus actual results.
Categorize defects by severity (critical, major, minor) and manage tracking diligently.

Coordinating with Developers & Business Teams
Communicate identified issues effectively to the development team for prompt resolution.
Re-test fixes to ensure they meet business expectations and actively participate in defect triage meetings.

Ensuring End-to-End Business Readiness
Validate integrations, reports, workflows, and user journeys to confirm business readiness.
Verify accuracy of data, as well as system performance and stability.
Provide official UAT sign-off after successful completion of all testing activities.
Ensure the product is ready for production from a business standpoint.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date test reports, defect logs, and supporting documentation.
Prepare thorough UAT summary reports for stakeholder review.

Provide functional expertise and support during go-live.
