Job Description-Manager (QA/QC)

The Quality Manager will champion, support or lead quality improvement initiatives. He is responsible for ensuring that all process owners and supervisors develop and maintain their part of the quality management system. A key role of the Quality Manager is that of ensuring that customer requirements and expectations have been accurately identified and that the organization is meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge of all types of Electrical and Routine Tests required in Current & Potential Transformers and Electrical Panel Manufacturing Process is mandatory

2. Overall experience of handling QA & QC Functions

3. Knowledge of Quality Tools

4. Exposure of handling Manpower and Customer Complaints

5. Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization 6. Maintaining a constant awareness of the business context and company profitability

7. Assessing product specifications and customer requirements

8. Ensuring compliance with national and international standards

9. Considering application of environmental and health and safety standards

10. Agreeing in-house standards

11. Defining processes and procedures in conjunction with operating staff

12. Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures

13. Working methodically to establish a clearly defined management system that all staff can apply

14. Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation

15. Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks, often in a laboratory environment

16. Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary

17. Collating and analyzing performance data against defined parameters

18. Writing technical and management system reports

19. Supervising the program of internal and external auditing

20. Supervising the program of continual improvement to product or services

21. Pinpointing relevant quality-related training needs

22. Being involved in staff recruitment and appraisals;

Job Requirements Qualification: Bachelor or Master of Engineering Electrical

Experience:8+ years in relevant Field, Experience in ISO standard Manufacturing and Quality Control/ Assurance process. Industry Type: Electrical Panel/ Panel components/Current & Potential Transformers only Salary: No Salary Bar for right candidate
