Position Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspections (visual and dimensional) of components and finished devices as well as performing Quality Control testing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of various products using a wide range of instruments including calipers, micrometers, and 3D scanners
- Perform QC lab testing using equipment such as a DSC, FTIR, and Instron Mechanical tester
- Complete quality paperwork ensuring all documents and inspection forms are completed correctly
- Maintain physical inventory of finished products
- Package finished products for shipment
- Scan completed job folders to the appropriate network drive
- Monitor documentation/equipment logs for periodic review or action
- Maintain cleanliness of laboratory and inspection rooms/areas
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- 2+ years of inspection working experience required
- 2+ years of working in an ISO certified manufacturing environment (ISO 13485 preferred)
- GD&T training preferred
- Experience with calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Highly organized
- Work within a team environment to achieve a common goal
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices along with supplementary work instructions
- Ability to work from blueprints and drawings relating to product specifications
- Solution oriented - a strong sense of urgency about solving problems

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
