Quality Manager

Roles & Responsibilities :-

1) Ensure product quality through strict inspection and process control during manufacturing.

2) Follow up for timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.

3) Avoid rework, mistakes, and wastage by improving quality systems and manufacturing practices.

4) Handle internal and external complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

5) Develop preventive measures to eliminate recurrence of defects and quality issues.

6) Visit client sites for inspection, erection, and commissioning quality checks.

7) Resolve customer/site complaints promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.

8) Coordinate with consultants, customers, and third-party inspection agencies at site and factory.

9) Conduct vendor visits for material inspection, process audit, and supplier quality improvement.

10) Monitor calibration and correct usage of inspection/testing instruments at factory and sites.

11) Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and performance metrics.

12) Train, guide, and mentor team members to build strong quality culture across factory and sites.

Skills Required :-

1) Strong Knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly processes.

2) Familiarity with international standards: ISO 9001, ASME, IBR, PED, etc.

3) Proficiency in NDT methods (UT, RT, DP, MPI, PMI).

4) Experience in handling third-party inspections and customer audits.

5) Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and continuous improvement techniques.

6) Strong vendor/supplier quality management skills.

7) Documentation and report preparation expertise.

8) Team leadership, training, and mentoring abilities.

9) Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and clients.

10) Willingness to travel for site inspections, customer interactions, and vendor visits.

11) Should be conversant with Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Manufacturing.

Experience needed :- 4 to 10 Years.

Educational Qualification :-

* B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)

* M.Tech / MBA (Operations/Quality)

* Certifications : Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, IATF 16949 (advantageous)
