Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for landscape construction projects.
• Analyze drawings (hard copy/digital), specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to develop cost-effective solutions and value engineering proposals.
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction phase, identifying and addressing deviations.
• Participate in project meetings, prepare progress reports, cost forecasts, and financial documentation as required.
• Ensure compliance with contractual agreements (monthly applications/variations/final accounting/taking over certificates/defect liability certificate) industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or landscaping industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costing principles.
• Proficiency in quantity takeoff/preparation of variations/extension of time/final accounts/FIDIC
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of team.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing landscape construction projects is preferred
