Job Description
Qualification and Experience:
- B-Tech Civil with at least 7 years of relevant experience
- DAE Civil with at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Expert in Microsoft Excel
Job Description:
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, monitoring costs throughout the project's lifecycle to avoid overruns.
- Tendering and Procurement:
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and manage the tendering process, including analyzing and evaluating bids.
- Advise on the selection of contractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements.
- Contract Management:
- Draft and review contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable to the client while complying with legal and industry standards.
- Manage contract variations and change orders, ensuring accurate cost adjustments are made.
- Cost Control and Monitoring:
- Monitor project costs to ensure the project is completed within the agreed-upon budget.
- Track and report on the progress of construction work, including assessing resource allocation, time delays, and cost efficiency.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential financial risks early in the project and provide mitigation strategies to control costs and prevent financial disputes.
- Measurement and Valuation of IPCs:
- Conduct site visits to assess the work completed and verify quantities, ensuring payments are made according to the actual work done.
- Provide valuations for interim payments to consultants, contractors and suppliers based on completed work.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, budgets, and financial transactions.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports, advising stakeholders of any cost changes or financial issues.
- Dispute Resolution:
- Assist in resolving any disputes related to costs, contract terms, or payments between stakeholders (contractors, clients, subcontractors, etc.).
- Project Closeout:
- Ensure that all final accounts and payments are completed once a project reaches completion.
- Review final project costs, identifying any discrepancies and ensuring all financial matters are settled.
