Are you an experienced Associate Specialist Radiologist seeking to advance your career in the UK’s NHS and currently working at a consultant doctor level in your country of residence?

Doctors Gateway is recruiting Associate Specialist Radiologiststo relocate to the United Kingdom and join our two-year Specialist programme.

This unique, full-time programme is designed to support you in becoming a specialist or consultant within the NHS. You will receive structured guidance, high-quality training, and mentorship, ensuring your professional development and career progression.

About you

To be eligible for this position, you must:

  • Hold a medical degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Have at least 12 years of medical experience (either continuous or in aggregate) since obtaining your primary medical qualification, including a minimum of six years in a relevant specialty.
  • Hold General Medical Council (GMC) registration with a valid licence to practise.
  • Have fellowship status with the Royal College of Radiologists.
  • Be working towards your Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
  • Possess broad radiology skills and experience.
  • Hold a valid English language proficiency certificate.

About the position

As an Associate Specialist Radiologist, you will develop expertise across a range of sub-specialties. You will be expected to undertake diagnostic radiology, including sub-specialty cross-sectional imaging. This will include general radiology sessions involving plain film reporting, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.

In addition to clinical duties, you will contribute to the supervision of radiology trainees and participate in the radiology on-call rota.

Sub-specialisms required:

  • Gastrointestinal (GI)
  • Genitourinary (GU)

On-call duty:
Participation in the on-call rota is required and may be subject to change based on service needs.
