Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support for a wide range of real estate transactions and document management. Your expertise will help streamline processes, ensure compliance with relevant laws, and facilitate successful property deals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills in closing transactions and project management will make a significant impact.

Part-time (3 days) or Full-time (5 days).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with real estate transactions including drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, deeds, title documents, and closing statements.
  • Manage real estate case files using document management systems.
  • Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, tracking transaction progress, and communicating with clients and stakeholders.
  • Review legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable laws; proofread and transcribe legal materials as needed.
  • Perform due diligence by researching property titles.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and draft legal correspondence to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for all legal documents including contracts, filings, and case records; ensure timely data entry and document review.
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling closings related to real estate matters; wire transfers; handle phone etiquette professionally.

Experience

  • Proven paralegal experience in real estate law with specific experience with real estate closings.
  • Strong knowledge of how a real estate transaction works and the steps involved.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Experience using document management systems such as e-Closing or Qualia.
  • Familiarity with legal administrative tasks like data entry, filing systems, proofreading legal documents, transcription services, and contract review.
  • Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; attention to detail is essential.
  • Effective interviewing skills to gather relevant information from clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
