Job Description

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers and plays a key role in ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience at the flower shop. This role involves handling customer inquiries, managing orders, coordinating with florists, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries.
  • Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and online inquiries professionally.
  • Process orders (in-store, phone, and online) and coordinate with florists for preparation.
  • Manage the booking schedule for bouquets, events, and deliveries.
  • Handle payments (cash, card, and online) and issue receipts.
  • Maintain front-desk cleanliness and ensure displays look appealing.
  • Update inventory levels for wrapping materials, ribbons, cards, and small items.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, customer records, and daily reports.
  • Coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
  • Support the team during peak seasons, events, and special occasions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or reception (preferably retail or F&B).
  • Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Basic computer skills (POS system, WhatsApp Business, email).
  • Friendly, organized, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn about flowers and shop products.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, shift-based depending on shop operating hours.
